In the fifth over’s opening delivery, Ishant Sharma 🦹bowled a length ball,ꩵ prompting Sudharshan to nudge it towards mid-wicket and initiate a quick single. Responding swiftly, Miller also sprinted for a run. Nevertheless, Sumit, stationed at mid-wicket, exhibited remarkable agility as he intercepted the ball and executed a precise underarm throw, dislodging the stumps with Sudharsan just short of his crease.

The on-field umpire referred the decision to the TV umpire, whose subsequent replay confirmed Sudharsan’s dismissal, underscoring Sumit’s outstanding fielding prowess. Soon Miller also departed in the same over as Gujarat were reduced to 30/4. This moment of brilliance not only shifted the momentum in Delhi’s favour but also exemplified the significance of athleticism and quick reflexes in the game of cricket.
