Prior to his international breakthrough, Gleeson carved out a successful domestic career. He made his first-class debut for Northamptonshire in 2015, facing off against Australia. In just 34 matches, he grabbed a 143 wickets. Gleeson also enjoyed success in List A cricket, debuting against Lancashire🅺 in ♛the Royal London One-Day Cup in 2016. He has taken 28 wickets in his 21 List A matches.

The CSK secured the services of seamer Gleeson from England for his base price of INR 50 lakhs. This marks Gleeson’s maiden IPL contract, presenting him with an exciting opportunity to showcase his skills on the biggest stage in franchise cricket.
Meanwhile, CSK have emerged as a force to be reckoned with in IPL 2024. They currently occupy the number three spot in the points table, having secured four wins in their first six matches.
