Chennai Super Kings topples Sunrisers Hyderabad at Chepauk

After being put in to bat first, CSK posted an imposing total of 212/3 in their allotted 20 overs, propelled by a stellar 98 off 54 deliveries from captain Ruturaj, who maintained a scorching strike rate of 182, comprising 10 fours and 3 sixes. Mitchell contributed with a fiery 52 off 37 balls. However, T Natarajan’s three-wicket haul was overshadowed by his expensive spell, conceding 43 runs in four overs.

In response, SRH suffered an early setback, losing three wickets for just 40 runs in four overs. Despite Aiden Markram and Nitish Reddy‘s efforts to revive SRH’s innings, they fell short. CSK bundled out SRH for a mere 134 runs, securing a commanding 78-run victory. Deshpande claimed three wickets in four overs, while Mustafizur Rahman bagged two wickets, conceding only 19 runs in three✅ overs.
