Fan’s attempt to meet Virat Kohli and security’s response
Amid RCB’s defense of 183 against Rajasthan, a young fan bypassed security measures by leaping over the fences and entering the field. Kohli’s spectacular century against Rajasthan Royals
Meanwhile, Kohli enthralled the fans in Jaipur on Saturday with his 8th IPL century. Kohli’s exceptional knock of 113 not out off just 72 balls was a spectacle to behold. However, despite his heroics, RCB fell short, managing only 183 runs in their allotted 20 overs after being sent in to bat by Sanju Samson. In a remarkable chase, Rajasthan, propelled by Jos Buttler‘s unbeaten 100 and captain Samson’s 69, surpassed the target in 19.1 overs, securing their fourth consecutive victory of the season. Consequently, Rajasthan surged to the top of the points table, standing as one of the two undefeated teams in IPL 2024 thus far.
While Kohli leads the Orange Cap race with 316 runs in 5 matches, RCB finds themselves languishing in the bottom half of the points table, having suffered 4 defeats in 5 matches in the ong🔯oing IPL 2024 season.
