Ravi Bopara, the England all-rounder with 171 international caps and IPL experience across three seasons, recently shared a delightful story about the team’s co-owner. Zinta, renowned for her team spirit. He remembered his early days of IPL and revealed how Zinta once promised the players homemade parathas as a reward for securing a win and even kept her promise.

“The standout moment apart from winning, and getting my highest score, was when Preity Zinta cooked parathas for me. She made them with her own hands. When she asked me what I wanted for breakfast, I mentioned aloo parathas, and she graciously made them herself. I am forever thankful for that gesture,”Bopara said on Fancode’s IPL show ‘The Super Over’.
Bopara’s stint in IPL
The veteran all-rounder Bopara amassed 531 runs and claimed 11 wickets in his 24-match IPL career. Primarily featuring as a batting all-rounder, he represented Kings XI Punjab (now PBKS) across two seasons (2009-10) for 15 matches and later played 9 matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2015 sea🐻son. Notably, Bopara contributed with three fifties in the IPL.
