Chennai Super Kings (CSK) suffered their first defeat of the IPL 2024 season after falling short against Delhi Capitals on Sunday evening. Chasing a tar𓆏get of 192 runs, CSK could only manage 171 in their 20 overs.
Delhi’s batting was spearheaded by fifties from openers Rishabh Pant and David Warner, along with a brisk 43 from Prithvi Shaw. CSK’s chase got off to a shaky start, leaving them in a precarious position when MS Dhoni walked out to bat at number 8.

“He was on tonight, he was not rusty,” Lee said on Jio Cinema. “I do want more from him in terms of batting. Get yourself up in the order. He is outstanding, his brain is still nice and sharp, CSK please get MS Dhoni up in the order,” Lee emphasized.
