KL Rahul led the charge with a resilient knock of 58 runs from 44 deliveries, anchoring the innings with his calculated stroke play. Nicholas Pooran also played a vital role, contributing a brisk 64 runs off 41 balls to keep the Super Giants in the hunt. However, the relentless bowling attack of the Royals, led by Trent Boult, managed to apply the brakes on the opposition’s scoring rate.
Boult’s disciplined spell yielded two crucial wickets for the Royals early on, while maintaining tight control over the proceedings. Supported by a collective effort from the bowling unit, Rajasthan Royals succeeded in restricting the Lucknow Super Giants to 173 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs.
