Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced th🐎eir 15-player squad representing the Proteas Women in the . The series is scheduled to be held from March 27 to April 3ܫ across different venues including Benoni, Potchefstroom, and East London.
New faces and returning players
Three changes have been made from the previous touring party that faced Australia in a T20I series in January. Notably, young wicketkeeper-batter Karabo Meso has earned her maiden national call-up, joining the returning duo of all-rounder Annerie Dercksen and seamer Tumi Sekhukhune.

Proteas Women Head Coach Hilton Moreeng expressed confidence in the squad’s core and emphasized the importance of providing opportunities to new talents. Moreeng highlighted Meso’s potential and expressed eagerness to see her performance in the upcoming series.
“We still have the core of the squad to make sure we can continue with what we’ve been working on regarding the T20Is. The build-up has been coming along nicely and now it’s just for us to deservingly give opportunities for those one or two spots we want to have a look at,” said Moreeng in a statement.
“There are a few youngsters coming in and one debutant in Karabo Meso who has been part of the High-Performance group and in the U19 World Cup. It’s a youngster who’s got a lot of potential and one we’re looking to see how she goes when given the opportunity,” Moreeng added.
