Zampa, a key player retained by the Royals in December’s auction, cited prioritizing his young family as the reason for his decision to step away from IPL 2024.
Replacement announced
In response to Zampa’s departure, the Rajasthan Royals wasted no time in unveiling their replacement for the talented spinner. On March 22, the opening day of the 17th season of the IPL, the Royals announced that Tanush Kotian would be filling the void left by Zampa 🐎in the squad.
About the young star
Kotian has recently gained attention for his stellar all-round performance during Mumbai’s victorious Ranji Trophy campaign. With a base price of INR 20 Lac, Kotian joins the Royals after representing Mumbai in various ♏form🀅ats, including 23 T20s, 26 First-Class games, and 19 List A matches.
