Reigning champions Mumbai Indians (MI) started their title defence with a resounding victory over the last year’s runner-ups in the opening clash of the T20 league.

England pacer Kate Cross, who graced the audience with her expert views in WPL 2023, has been signed by RCB for the ongoing season. So, she won’t be there in the commentary this year.
In fact, the broadcasters have acquired the services of Natalie Germanos, a well-known South African media personality and sports commentator, for WPL 2024; therefore, the fans won’t feel the absence of Cross in the commentary panel.
