Sixers register a heart-stopping win
In response, the Adelaide Strikers had a shaky start, losing D’Arcy Short early in the innings. However, Matthew Short and Chris Lynn steadied the ship with aggressive strokes. Matthew Sho✨rt top-scored for the Strikers, contributing 55 runs off 48 balls, while Lynn added 37 runs off just 17 deliveries.
The Sixers’ bowlers fought back, with Jackson Bird picking up two crucial wickets💜 for 19 runs in his four overs. Henriques also played a pivotal role, claiming two wickets for 11 runs in his two overs. In a nerve-wracking finish, the Strikers need𝐆ed 17 runs off the final over to win. They did well to get close to the finish but fell just one run short of the target.
