6 teams to compete for the coveted title
This year’s edition will see a total of six teams vying for supremacy in the fast-paced T20 format. The geographical divide is evident, with four teams hailing from the North Island and two from the South Island, ensuring a diverse and competitive field.
The participating teams in the 19th Super Smash include the Northern Knights, Auckland Aces, Canterbury Kings, Central Stags, Otago Volts and Wellington Firebirds. As the cricketing powerhouses of New Zealand, these teams are set to showcase their talent and determination in a bid to claim the covet🤪ed T20 league 👍title.
Notably, Auckland Aces and Northern Knights have etched their names in the annals of Super Smash history as the most successful sides in the tournament. Both teams have clinched the trophy a remarkable four times, underlining their dominance and consistency in the league.
