Selection committee and approval
The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee meticulously chose the 15-member squad for the U19 Asia Cup, with the final selection gaining approval from the Honorable Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Harin Fernando. The team, under t🅺he leadership of Jayawardena, is slated to depart for Dubai on 𓆉December 6, 2023.
“The Sri Lanka Cricket Selection Committee selected the 15-member squad to take part in the U19 Asia Cup, which will be played in Dubai. The squad was approved by the Honorable Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Harin Fernando. The team captained by Sineth Jayawardena will depart for the Asia Cup on December 6, 2023,” read a media release of Sri Lanka Cricket.
