However, a determined bowling effort from Sophie Devine (3 wickets), Molly Penfold (2 wickets) and (2 wickets) restricted Pakistan to a total o๊f 220 in 50 overs.

In response, New Zealand Women faced early setbacks, but Suzie Bates (74) and Maddy Green (83) anchored th꧒e innings, guiding their team to the brink of victory.
