Put in to bat first after losing the toss, West Indies posted a challenging total of 176/7 in their 20 overs. Brandon King was the star of the innings, smashing 82 not out off 52 deliveries, including 8 fours and 5 sixes. Skipper Rovman Powell also made a significant contribution with a quickfire 50 off 28 balls, featuring 3 fours and 5 sixes. England’s bowling effort was led by Adil Rashid and Tymal Mills, who picked up two wickets each.
England Innings
In response, England faced a stern challenge from the West Indies bowlers but managed to reach 166/7 in their allotted 20 overs.
