The first ODI of the witnessed an engaging battle between Bangladesh Women and Pakistan Women at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur.

After winning the toss, Bangladesh Women opted to bat first. However, a dominant display by the Pakistani bowlers restricted Bangladesh to a mere 81 runs in 31.5 overs, with Sadia Iqbal, and Umme Hani leading the bowling attaꦇck, claiming four, three and three wickets, respectively.

Bangladesh’s batting effort was led by Fahima Khatun‘s resilient knock of 18 runs, but the team failed to build a substantial partnership, resulting in a paltry total.

Pakistan Innings

In response, Pakistan Women displayed a composed batting performance, registering a convincing 5-wicket victory in 24.5 overs. Nida Dar’s resilient 35-run contribution guided Pakistan to the target, with valuable support from Aliya Riaz‘s 16 runs.
