Cricket Australia (CA), on Tuesday, announced their revised squad for the upcoming T20I series against India, starting Thursday, November 23 in Visakhapatnam. The series against India also serves as a crucial part of the teams’ preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup scheduled to take place in the West Indie🐟s and the USA.
Notable absences
Several prominent names, including David Warner, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Cameron Green, and Mitchell Marsh, will be unavailable for the T20Is. This st🗹rategic decision allows them to focus on preparations for the upcoming home Test series against Pakistan, comme🐼ncing on December 14.
New inclusions
In light of the absentees, Cricket Australia has called up Western Australia allrounder Aaron Hardie, who made his debut earlier this year in South Africa. Additionally, Kane Richardson has been brought in as a replacement for Spencer Johnson, who is nursing a hamstring injury.
