Bowlers give Netherlands a memorable win
South Africa faced a target of 246 runs to win but struggled to chase it down. Temba Bavuma, Quinton de Kock, and Rassie van der Dussen couldn’t make substantial contributions, and the middle order also faced challenges. David Miller was the top scorer for South Africa with 43 runs, but it wasn’t enough to secure the victory.
The Netherlands bowlers displayed a commendable effort, with Logan van Beek leading the way, taking 3 wickets. Paul van Meekeren, Roelof van der Merwe, and Bas de Leede each contributed with 2 w🌜ickets. Their collective effort restricted South Africa to 207 runs, resulting in a 38-run victory for the Netherlands.
