Even as doubts persist over his participation inꦚ the Pakistan encounter, Shubman has wasted no time in 🐼resuming his batting practice. Upon arriving in Ahmedabad, the 25-year-old has taken to the nets, all geared up for the match against Pakistan scheduled for October 14.
In the absence of Shubman, who had been sidelined due to dengue fever, Ishan Kishan stepped in as Rohit Sharma‘s opening partner for both of India’s previous matches against Australia and Afghanistan. Kishan made a substantial contribution to India’s triumph over Afghanistan, amassing a crucial 47 runs.

India’s decent start in the World Cup
