In the post-innings interview, Shanto talked about his celebration and said: “This hundred I dedicate it to my son.”
It is worth mentioning that this wasn’t the first time Shanto had shone in the Asia Cup 2023. He had previously been the top-scorer for his team in the opening match against Sri Lanka, ꦺnarrowly missing out on a century by scoring 89 runs off 1🍒22 balls.
