Opting to bat afte𝔉r winning the toss, South Africa set a challengi💛ng target of 316 for Australia. The Proteas displayed a solid batting performance, with significant contributions from their top and middle order.

Aiden Markram was the standout performer for South Africa, smashing a blistering 93 runs off 87 deliveries, featuring 9 fours and 3 sixes. He anchored the innings after the early departure of wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock, who managed 27 runs.
