Kuldeep Yadav’s 4-fer steers India to final

Chasing a target of 214 runs for victory, Sri Lanka could only manage 172 runs for the loss of all their wickets in 41.3 overs. Dhananjaya de Silva was the top scorer for Sri♋ Lanka with a resilient 41 runs off 66 balls, w🍨hile Wellalage played a crucial knock of 42 runs off 46 balls, which included three fours and a six.

Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the Indian bowlers, taking 4 wickets for 43 runs in his 9.3 overs. Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja also contributed with 2 wickets each. In the end, India’s total proved to be too much for Sri Lanka to chase down, and the hosts fell short by 41 runs. With this victory, India have secured berth in the Asia Cup 2023 Final.
