Lavish menu for Pakistan team
According to the repor🦄ts by news agency PTI, Pakistanis were treated to a sumptuous and diverse menu during their stay in India. Due to dietary restrictions imposed during the tournament, beef was unavailable to all participating teams. Pakistan, in line with these restrictions, focused on chicken, mutton, and fish as their primary sources of protein.
Reports further stated that, the team’s diet chart included delectable items such as grilled lamb chops, mutton curry, the ever-popular butter chicken, and grilled fish. To meet their carbohydrate requirements, the Pakistan team requested steamed basmati rice, spaghetti in Bolognese sauce, and vegetarian pulao from the stadium caterer. Additionally, as they are in India for almost two weeks, they may indulge in the famous Hyderabadi biryani for their cheat meals.
Warm-up matches and ODI World Cup campaign
Pakistan’s schedule leading up to the ODI World Cup includes a couple of warm-up matches. Their first practice game is against New Zealand in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi stadium, scheduled for Friday. Following that, Babar Azam‘s men are set to face Australia in their second w🍨arm-up game on Tuesday (October 3).
