Former Australian leg-spinner Stuart MacGill has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged commercial-scale cocaine deal. The retired cricketer, known for his impressive bowling skills, came under𒐪 the scrutiny o🐓f law enforcement authorities after a harrowing incident in April 2021 when he was reportedly kidnapped by armed individuals outside his residence in northern Sydney.

The 52-year-old, who has transitioned to the restaurant business after his cri𓄧cketing career, recounted the traumatic 🍨experience on the Australian radio network SEN last year. According to MacGill, he was forcibly taken, assaulted, threatened, and eventually left stranded.

After a thorough and extensive investigation into the kidnapping incident, the police now assert that MacGill’s abduction may have been linked to his involvement in a drug transaction. The charges against MacGill include one count of knowingly participating in the supply of a commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.

According to local media, the alleged deal 🧸involves more than $300,000 of cocaine.
