Southern Brave’s decision to bowl after winning the toss paid dividends as their bowlers stifled the London Spirit batting lineup. The Spirit managed to post a total of 104/5 in 85 balls. They lost the prized scalp of opener Grace Harris on the 5th ball courtesy of a sensational delivery from Lauren Bell.
Bell came over the wicket and bowled a good length delivery that came in sharply, piercing the defence of Harris and thrashing the middle stump. Harris looked to play the ball on the long off region but the excessive swing♊ did the trick for Bell.
