UAE chased down the target with flair, reaching 144/3 in just 15.4 overs. Muhammad Waseem led the charge with a blistering knock of 55 runs off 29 balls, featuring 4 fours and 3 sixes. He was well-supported by Asif Khan, who scored 48 runs off 29 balls, and Vritiya Aravind, who contributed 25 runs off 21 balls. The UAE batting display showcased their prowess, as they secured the victory with 7 wickets in hand. For New Zealand, Tim Southee, Mitchell Santner and Kyle Jamieson managed to take wickets, but they couldn’t quite contain the UAE batters.

Aayan Khan’s exceptional bowling performance earned him the Player of the Match award as he contributed significantly to UAE’s victory.
