South Africa Women's Cricket Team

Cricket South Africa (CSA) recently unveiled a formidable 15-player squad that will tour for a white-ball series in Sep💧tember. The Proteas team will play three T20Is and as many ODIs on the visit.

The squad announced by CSA is a blend of experience and youthful dynamism, featuring 12 members who showcased their mettle during the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2023. Although Sune Luus carried So🎉uth Africa to the runner-up position in that tournament, she will not be leading the side during the Pakistan tour. The appointment of a new skipper is in the pipeline and is expected to be announced by the management shortly.

Absence of Chloe Tryon and Annerie Derckson:

At the same time, the South African contingent will also miss the services of Chloe Tryon and Annerie Derckson in Pakistan. Tryon has been granted leave from the Pakistan assignment while Derckson grapples with a finger injury. However, this opens up opportunities for other young players to step up and prove their mettle on the international🧜 stage.
