India’s dynamic wicketkeeper-batter, Rishabh Pant, continues to make remarkable strides in his recovery journey following a harrowing car accident in December of the previous year. The accident occurred as Pant was en route from Delhi to his hometown in Roorkee, resulting in severe injuries and burns. After receiving initial medical attention in Dehradun, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took the dec𒆙isive step of airlifting him to Mumbai for more extensive treatment, including a vital knee surgery to address ligament damage and other associated injuries.
Pant, a crucial asset for the Indian cricket team, has been since absent from international cricket for over nine months. During this period, he has been diligently working on his rehabilitation at the esteemed National Cricket Academy (NCA) located in Bengaluru. Notably, the 25-year-old recently exhibited positive signs of regaining fitness by participating in a club match hosted in Bengaluru as part of the JSW Vijay Nagar event. Amidst Pant’s commendable progress, it was revealed by India’s skipper, Rohit Sharma, during the Asia Cup 2023 team selection press conference, that Pant♚ is still some distance away from achieving full fitness.

Now in a recent update shared on his social media platform, Pant provided insight into his ongoing rehabilitation regimen. The video showcased him vigorously pedaling on a stationary exercise bike within the gym. Accompanying this visual display of determination, Pant added the caption, “Grip. Twist. Paddle. Good vibes only,”.

Pant’s post garners heartwarming comment from David Warner
Pant’s social media post garnered an outpouring of well-wishes and messages of support from his legion of fans, all eagerly anticipating his swift and complete recovery. Among those expressing their joy at his progress was his Delhi Capitals (DC) teammate, David Warner, who couldn’t contain his happiness.
In a comment left on Pant’s Instagram post, Warner wrote, “This makes me smile and very happy,”. Notably, Warner took over the reins as captain of the Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, stepping into Pant’s shoes during his absence from the tournament.
