In the ongoing India tour of West Indies 2023, the second One Day International (ODI) between West Indies and India prov𝔉ed to be a low scoring contest at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. The West Indies team won the toss and elected to bowl first.
India put up a total of 181 runs in their innings, losing all their wickets in 40.5 overs. Ishan Kishan was the top scorer for India with 55 runs off 55 balls, followed by Shubman Gill, who contributed 34 runs. The West Indies bowlers put up a good show, with Gudakesh Motie being the pick of the bowlers, taking three wickets for 36 runs in 9.5 overs. Al🧔l-rounder Romario Shepherd also claimed three scalps for 37 runs in his 8 overs.
In response, the West Indies team chased down the target with ease, scoring 182 runs for the loss of four wickets in 36.4 overs. Captain Shai Hope was the standout performer for his team, scoring an impressive 63 runs off 80 balls. Keacy Carty also played a crucial role, contributing 48 runs to the team’s total. Shardul Thakur was the most successful bowler for India, taking three wickets for 42 runs in his eightꦕ overs.

The victory in the se🃏cond ODI gave West Indies a 1-1 series score, with the first ODI being won by✅ India.
