The India tour of the West Indies commenced on Wednesday (July 12), with the first Test of the multi-format series getting underway at Windsor Park in Dominica. India started the visit in a great fashion and bowled out the hosts for 150 runs on Day 1 of the first Test itself. The match also saw India’s young star Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ishan Kishan make their debuts for the country in the red-ball fo🎶rmat.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, West Indies got off to a disastrous start and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Among India bowlers, the spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja played a major role in dism🅷antling the batting line-up of the hosts. Ashwin claimed a brilliant fifer for the Indian side, while Jadeja chipped in with three crucial wi♉ckets.
