Ashes 2023: Here’s why England players sported each other’s jersey on Day 3 at The Oval

The England players were spotted donning each other’s jerseys ahead of the play on Day 3 of the fifth Ashes 2023 Test at the Oval on Saturday (July 27). However, it wasn’t just a random exchange or swapping.  The swap was done as part of the English team’s initiative to raise awareness and funds for those affected by dementia, a disease that robs individuals of their 𝐆cherished memories.

The England cricket team in a heartwarming gesture decided to step up and partner with the Alzheimer’s Society, an organization dedicated t♍o helping people living with dementia ahead of play on Day 3. The initia♚tive was undertaken to shed light on the challenges faced by those suffering from the Alzheimer, as well as to promote understanding of the disease in society and raise funds.
