Salem Spartans (SS) will square off against Ba11sy Trichy (BT) in the 7th match of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2023 at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul on Sunday (June 18). Both teams are yet to open their account in the TNPL 2023 and have faced one defeat each in the tournament. While SS were beaten by Chepauk Super Gillies (CSG) in their previous match, Ba11sy Trichy 𓄧suffered a loss against Dindigul Dragons (DD/) in their last game.
Muhammed Adnan Khan was the standout performer for SS in their encounter against CSG. Although the Spartan batter hammered quickfire 47 runs off just 15 deliveries, he failed to get his team through in the run chase. Among bowlers, Sunny Sandhu picked two wickets for SS. Meanwhile, Ganga Sridhar Raju shined for Trichy in their match against DD. The BT🔯 skipper scored resilient 48 runs off 41 balls for his team. However, BT bowlers failed to defend the target and eventually lost the game.
