India have reached the final of the ICC WTC for the second time, having previously competed against New Zealand in the inaugural edition (Jun 18-Jun 23, 2021) at Southampton’s Rose Bowl, resulting in an eight-wicket defeat loss. The highly anticipated encounter between Australia and India at The Oval will witness the expertise of on-field umpires Chris Gaffaney (New Zealand) and Richard Illingworth (England).
