Australia’s star batter Marnus Labuschagne is always seen taking the field with chewing gum in his mouth, and his peculiar behaviour often leaves cricket enthusiasts in splits. The Aussie batter yet again has baffled everyone with his strange act while batting in the second Ashes 20ꦅ23 Test at the Lord’s.
On Day 1 of the Lord’s Test, Labuschagne was spotted putting a droppe𝔍d chewing gum back in his mouth. The act ﷽of the right-handed batter was caught on camera and has garnered huge attention on social media.
It all happened in the 45th over of the match when Labushchagne was batting alongside Steve Smith and accidentally dropped his chewing gum while adjusting his gloves. The 29-year-old quickly picked the chewing gum from the pitch and tossed it back in his mouth. The incident took every🍌one by surprise, and the🐲 video of the same has now gone viral on the internet.

Speaking of the match, Labuschagne missed on his half-century and was dismissed for 47 runs in Australia’s first innings. Meanwhile, Smith batted brilliantly and went on to scor🐈e a scintillating ton for the visitors on Day 2. Smith’s century helped Australia finish on a score of 410 before being bundled out by England. Ollie Robinson and Josh Tongue were the💧 most successful bowlers for England, picking up three wicket🌠s each for their side.
In reply, England got off to an impressive start, with their openers webbing a 91-run partnership for the first wicket. The English side further soared to 188 runs for the loss of just two wickets. However, the hosts later suffered a coupl𓆉e of quick setbacks and are currently four wickets down with 278 ru🐷ns on the board until the stumps of Day 2.
