The 56th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 saw Rajasthan Royals (RR) registering a dominant victory over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens on Thursday.
Put in to bat, the Knight Riders started their innings with a steady flow of runs, thanks to the contributions from Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Jason Roy. However, they lost wickets at regular intervals, with only Venkatesh Iyer playing a significant knock of 57 runs off 42 balls. The team finished their innings at 149/8 in 20 overs, with Yuzvendra Chahal being the pick of the bowlers for Rajasthan Royals with four wi💮ckets.
In response, Rajasthan Royals came out all guns blazing, with Yashasvi Jaiswal leading the charge with an incredible knock of 98 runs off just 47 balls, which included 12 fไours and 5 sixes.
