After a thrilling first T20I which went into Super Over, New Zealand and Sri Lanka faced each other in the second game at University Oval in Dunedin on Wednesday. Unlike the opening fixture, the second T20I didn’t see the nail-biting finish as the Black Caps completely dominated the proceedings and sealed a 9-wicket vicဣtory to🌱 level the 3-match series 1-1.
Adam Milne led New Zealand’s seamers and returned with an impressive show which caused Sri Lanka’s innings to falter. The right-arm pacer ended up grabbing a five-wicket haul, dismantling the Lankan batting attack right from the word go.
During his eye-catching bowling performance, Milne also grabbed headlines with his fiery pace, resulting in a Sri Lanka batter breaking his bat. It all happened during the opening over of the Lankan innings when Milne bowled at a good length which struck above the sticker of Nissanka’s bat, and the willow immediately broke as the handle almost came out.
