Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) suffered a major blow on Thursday (April 27) as their star all-rounder Washington Sundar got ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. The Hydera༺bad-based ♑franchise confirmed the news by releasing a statement on their official Twitter handle.
However, Sundar’s withdrawal didn’t go down well with fans as they lambasted the Tamil Nadu cricketer for getting prone to injuries so often. Notably, Sunda🐈r has a history of injury issues in both his international and IPL career. The 23-year-old also sustained injury during last year’s IPL.
Speaking of Sundar’s campaign in the IPL 2023 so far, the all-rounder has scored 60 runs at an average of 15 and has picked up just three wickets in seven matches that he played for SRH before sustaining the injury. Hyderabad also aren’t doing well in the ongoi🌳ng tournament and sit 𝄹at the ninth position of the 10-team points table with two wins in seven matches.
The already disappointed fans were left more frustrated after Sundar’s injury announcement and tr💟olled the latter badly for getting prone to injuries on a regular basis. Some even termed him as frag𒀰ile as glass.
