Chasing a target of 186 runs, Mumbai got off to a decent start with Rohit Sharma scoring 20 runs off 13 balls. However, it was Ishan Kishan who turned the match in Mumbai Indians’ favour with a brilliant innings of 58 off just 25 balls, which included 5 fours and 5 sixes.
Stand-in skipper Suryakumar Yadav and batter Tilak Varma also contributed with scores of 43 and 30, respectively, while Tim David played a quickfire knock of 24 runs off 13 balls. Mumbai Indians chased down the target with 2.2 overs to spare and 5 wicket♔s in hand.
For KKR, Suyash Sharma was the most successful bowler, bagging two wickets for 27 runs in his quota of 4 overs. However, it wasn’t enough to prevent Mumbai Indians from winning the match.

Very impressive chase that from . Venkatesh Iyer's century dominated the first half but batters went a step ahead. Also delighted to see Arjun Tendulkar make his IPL debut today.

At the Wankhede, 186 is like 140 on ♑a two-paced deck. Only V Iyer could hit top form for them.

Venkatesh Iyer…the w꧋ait is over. Only three boundaries were hit while he was at the crease. Unbelievable knock. Proper definition of a ‘one man show’.
