Put in to bat, Tornadoes started their innings well and went on to put up a decent score of 115/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Stafanie Taylor was the top scorer for the team with 24 runs off 17 balls, including 4 fo🍌urs.
Chanida Sutthiruang and Aliya Riaz also made important contributions with the bat, scoring 12 and 19 runs, respectively. Shabnim Ismail was the pick of t⭕he bowlers for South Coast Sapphires, taking 2 wickets for just 8 runs in her 4 overs.

South Coast Sapphires’ batting lineup failed to fire, with Katie Mack being the top scorer with just 11 runs off 13 balls.
