The Women’s Premier League (WPL) brought together cricket players fro🍷m all over the world to partake in the joyous celebration ✤of Holi.
Holi, also known as the ‘Festival of Colors,’ is a significant and vibrant festival in India. It is celebrated to signify the triumph of good over evil and to welcome the arrival of spring. Thanks to WPL, this festival provided an excellent opportunity for players to exchange their cultures and celebrate together.
Among the Indian and foreign cricket stars who participated in the Holi celebration was Australian superstar Ellyse Perry.
Perry is a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad, which is currently competing in WPL 2023. She took to her official Twitter handle to share a picture from the celebration held at the RCB team hotel in Mumbai. Perry’s teammates Megan Schutt and Sophie Devine also featured in the picture.

The Aussie all-rounder shared another post on Instagram, in which she showed off her hair dyed in pink colour, caused by the colourful powder used during the Holi celebration. She jokingly asked if the colour would stay permanen✨t in her hair.
“Just wondering if this is now a permanent thing? I’ve washed my hair twice,” Perry wrote in the captio💫n of her Instagram post.
Despite facing defeats in the first two matches of their WPL 2023 campaign, Perry and other RCB players enjoyed th🌄e Holi festi♌vities, and the experience helped them bond and build team spirit.
Despite the losses, the remains optimistic and is determined to bounce back in the upcoming matches. Overall, the celebration of Holi was an excellent opportunity for players to experience Ind🤡ian culture, exchange𒉰 ideas and build lasting bonds with their teammates and coaching staff.
