In the event, Jemimah also opened up about her active behaviour and said that she has always been self-conscious about her movements on the field and was afraid of how people perceived her. However, the 22-year-old emphasized that she has always been true to herself and intends to remain authentic regardless of others’ opinions.
“I have always been this person. If you ask Jhulu di (Jhulan Goswami), she never saw me sit quietly in the dressing room. But when I come on the cricket field, I always wanted to be this person but at the same time I was very aware about people watching. If I don’t score this is going to backfire,” Rod🦩rigues told at the BT Most Powerful Women Awards Night.
At the same time, speaking about her dance moves in the recently concluded Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2023, the India top-order batter said: “The crowd was amazing, there was music and I was like it just happened. I couldn’t stop myself. This is me, I just want to be me whether people criticize or not, at the end I know when I am on the field my commitment level to the game has never wavered. it has always been 100 percent and as long as I am ticking that everything is fine.”
Following the award night’s conclusion, Harleen shared her 360-degree dance video with Jemimah and captioned the post, “Adding some spice to the @busines_stoday event”
