An incredible hundred from explosive opener Jason Roy and an all-round effort from Sam Curran propelled England to dominating win in the second ODI at Sher-e-Banℱgla Nat🌺ional Stadium in Dhaka on Friday.
Apart from Roy and Curran, the likes of Jos Buttler, Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali provided valuaᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚble contributions at different stages of the game as the English side 🦹secured the series (2-0) with one game to spare.
Put in to bat first, the tourists posted 3꧙26/7 on the board in 50 overs. Roy smashed 132 from 128 deliveries, including 18 fours and a six. Similarly, Buttler also scored 76 off 64 balls with the help of five fours and a couple of maximums.
In response, the hosts got bundled out for 194, losing the contest by 132 runs. Veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was the top scorer for Bangladesh with 58 off 69 balls. Curran and Rashid were the pick of the bowlers for England, picking 4 wickets each. While Curran bagged a 4-fer by conceding 29 in 6.4 overs, Rashid claimed 4🀅 scalps for 45 in his quota of 10 overs.
