The dates and venue for the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023𒐪 final have been confirmed by the🍒 International Cricket Council (ICC).
The grand finale of the 2021-23 WTC cycle is scheduled at The Oval, London from June 7 to 11 with a reserve day in place (June 12). New Zealand had won the inaugural edition of WTC, defeating India by eight wickets in the 2021 fin🌸al at the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
Currently, two str⛦ong contenders to play the final are Aust♛ralia and India. Australia are at the top i✅n the WTC 2021-23 points table with 136 points and win percentage of 75.56 while India stands behind them w🌟ith 99 points and win percentage of 58.93. Both sides are competing in the four-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy with an eye of the WTC final.
Sri Lanka (53.33%) and South Africa (48.72%), who are occupying the third and fourth positions respectively, have a chance to play the summit clash. Sri Lanka have two away Tests against New Zealand remaining in the ongoing cycle, while South Africa’s last assignment is the two-match home series against West Indies.
