The Durban Super Giants and MI Cape Town locked hor๊ns in the Match no. 5 of SA20 at the Newlands in Capet🐼own on Friday, January 13.
Put in to bat first, Rashid Khan-led MI Capetown failed to start well and lost their star opener Dewald Brevis for a duck. However, Grant Roelofson 52 (43) and George Linde 33 (25) batted e🌌fficiently to power their team to a fighting total of 152 for ꦐthe loss of 8 wickets.
For the Giants, every bowler to have bowled bagged a wicket or two except Keshav Maharaj, the 32-year-old spinner went wicketless.
The important wicket of Brevis was taken by Kyle Mayer, who bowled a fierce swing💮ing yorker to dismiss the opener in the first over of the match. The 19-year-old seemed surprised by the absolute ripper of delivery and took a moment to walk back to the pavilion.

I always want to execute the inswinging yorker upfront, my team always back me to get the wicket in the first over. It feels good. I have a bit of skills, try to show every now and then,” said Brevis.
Both MI Cape Town🍸 and Durban Super Gi𝓡ants have till now played two matches in the league and have won one game each.
