The 48th match of BBL|12 saw Adelaide Strikers take on Perth Scorchers at the Adelaide Oval. Strikers won the toss and decided to bat first, but their innings was cut short as they were only able to score 92 runs before being bundled out in 17 ov🔴ers. Adam Hose was the top scorer for his side, with 30 runs off 23 balls, inclu꧂ding four fours.
The Scorchers had a strong performance in the field, with David Payne leading the way as he took three wickets for 20 runs in his three overs. Lance Morris and Peter Hatzoglou also contributed with three wickets each. The trio made it🎉 difficult f♔or the Strikers to build any momentum during their innings.
In response, the Scorchers chased down the paltry target in only 11.1 overs, losing three wickets in the process. It was a commanding performance by the Ashton Turner-led team as they were able to take control of the match from the start and never let go. The Strikers were unable to mount a comeback and the Scorchers secured a com🐬fortable 7-wicket victory.
