Team India is all set to lock horns with Bangladesh in a two-match Test series after losing the ODI leg (1-2). The series opener is scheduled🍃 to be played in Chattogram from December 14 onwards.
India wil෴l have to perform well in the upcoming series with crucial ICC World Test Championship 2023 points up for grabs. They need to win five out of their remaining six Tests to reach the 2019-23 WTC final. In four of these five games, India will play against Australia next year on home soil. Therefore, the win in two Tests versus Bangladesh will be a morale booster for India, who were the runner-ups in the pre🦹vious WTC cycle.
One of the players fans are eagerly waiting to see in Tests is former India skipper Virat Kohli. He has regained his form in white-ball cricket and will return to action in the longest format of the gam🅺e after a five-month-long break post the England tour.
Kohli smashed a scintillating ton against Afghanistan in the🍎 2022 Asia Cup T20 and, most recently, scored a century in the third and final ODI versus Bangladesh. His last Test hundred came against Bangladesh in Nove💙mber 2019 under home conditions, and he will also look forward towards ending that drought.
Ahead of the first Test, Kohli was seen practicing hard in the nets and even hit left-arm spinner Axar Patel out of the p🧸ark. The d🌌uo shared a laugh while talking about the same later.
