In the press conference after the second day’s play, when Indian fast bowler Mohammed Siraj was asked about Patel’s promotion, he said: “It’s management’s call. I think it was because of the left-hand, right-hand combination to try to make things difficult for bowlers.”
When asked about Kohli’s argument with the Bangladeshi player, Siraj replied he was taking an ice bath when the incident happened.
At stumps, India were 45 for the loss of 4 wickets, and they still need 100 runs to seal the series by 2-0. Mehidy Hasan ♕ha🃏s bowled brilliantly in the second innings with his three wickets.
