England defeated Pakistan in the second Test of the three-match series in Multan on Tuesday, December 12. On Day 4, the tourists bundled out the home team on 328 in their second innings and won the c🌟ontest by 26 runs, taking a 2-0 lead in the series with one match to go.
But what caught the attention of fans was a bizarre scene between Pakistan tail-ender Mohammad Ali and England skipper Ben Stokes. Pakistan were 319-9 when Ali nicked a delivery from Ollie Robinson to wicket-keeper Ollie Pope. Despite edging the ball, the tail🐼-ender asked for a DRS. While the third ༺umpire was going through the DRS process, Stokes prematurely walked up to Ali to shake hands.
However, the Pakis☂tani player refused to s🌺hake hands, gesturing to Stokes about something before they exchanged a few words. The video of the incident went viral on social media.

The reason Ali was not shaking hands with Stokes at the moment was that the match wasn’t officially over, as the third umpire didn’t make his decision. However, Ali approached Stokes and shook his hand when he was given out on the big screen. He even congratulated the Three Lions captain on his side’s historic win.
The victory marks England’s first occasion of registering back-to-back triumphs in Pakistan in Test cricket. The last and final Test of the series is scheduled to take place in Karachi from December 17 to 21.
