In the recently-concluded T20 World Cup 2022, both batters and bowlers had a pretty good time on the bouncy tracks in Australia. While pacers had a massive impact due to lively pitches, big hitters weren’t far behind with huge sixes.

Out of a total of 331 sixes hit by batters in the global showpiece event, nine times, the white leather travelled 100 meters or beyond that. On that note, let’s have a look at the 10 biggest sixes in the T20 World Cup 2022:

109m – Junaid Siddique (UAE) v Sri Lanka

In the match against Sri Lanka, UAE player Junaid Siddique took Dushmantha Chameera to the clea🧜ners and hit him a colossal 109m six, the biggest of the tournament.

106m – Iftikhar Ahmed (Pakistan) v South Africa

Pakistan’s Iftikhar Ahmed is second on the list with his 106m six in the game against South Africa. In the Super 12 clash, Iftikhar smacked Proteas pacer Lungi Ngidi for a massive hit.

In the contest between West Indies and Ireland, hard-hitter Odean Smith clobbered Irish bowler Mark Adair and hit an enormous 106 meter maximum.

104m – David Miller (South Africa) v India

In a high-voltage clash between South Africa and India, Proteas star David Miller played an explosive knock that featured 3 sixes. One of which was an absolute monster hit as it travelled 104 meters. Miller smashed the massive six against Ravichandran Ashwin at Optus Stadium in Perth.

104m – Rovman Powell (West Indies) v Zimbabwe

With no surprises, another West Indies batter has featured on this list in the form of power-striker Rovman Powell. In 🌜the Group B match of the first round against Zimbabwe, Powell hit two sixes during his stay in the middle, one of which was 104 metre♈s long and landed outside the stadium.

102m – Mitchell Marsh (Australia) v Ireland

In the match against Ireland, Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh punished Fionn Hand with a massive 102-meter six at the iconic Gabba Stadium. Marsh went for a full swing and connected beautifully as the ball soared over the mid-wicket fence into the top tier foﷺr a maximum.

102m – Aaron Finch (Australia) v New Zealand

In the opening Super 12 match between Australia and New Zealand, captain Aaron Finch hit a huge six when he went downtown to smash Trent Boult for a 102-meter six.

100m – Glenn Phillips (New Zealand) v England

The only New Zealander to feature on this list is Glenn Phillips, who had a tremendous tournament with the bat in the T20 World Cup 2022. During a match against England, Phillips slog-swept Adil Rashid over the cow corner for a massive 100-meter six.

The semi-final contest between England and India was indeed a memorable one for all the English fans. England completely dominated the proceedings and won the match by 10 wickets, thanks to Jos Buttler and Alex Hales‘ batting show. 98m – Michael Jones (Scotland) v Ireland

Last on the list is the only one which is below 100-meter, and it came in the match between Scotland and Ireland when Scottish batter Michael Jones smashed Joshua Little for a 98-meter maximum.
