A rejuvenated Pakistan lifted their game when it mattered the most and stormed into the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 with a comprehensive seven-wicket win over New Zealand at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Wednesday.

After the Bla🏅ck Caps won the toss and opted to bat, the Men in Green first r🔯estricted Kane Williamson & Co. to 152 for four on a sluggish SCG surface and then chased down the set total with consummate ease. Captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan hit attacking half-centuries, giving their side a flying start.

Pakistan eventually reached the finish ꦏline in 19.1 overs ꧒and booked a place in the final after 13 years. This will be their third appearance in the T20 World Cup finals. They finished as runners-up in the inaugural edi𒆙tion in 2007 before sealing the trophy two year💫s later.
